Your tax-deductible gifts of $20, $50, $100 or any amount to Friends Along the Road, will provide time and safe places for those in deep grief to mourn their loved ones, seek consolation, and reevaluate their lives. Your donations will help Friends Along the Road provide in-person, over-the-phone, and online grief support, and help us build sanctuaries - both virtual and physical - such as our primary facilty in Colorado, where we will provide free, caring, nonjudgmental support in an atmosphere of unconditional positive regard. Donations to FAR will help us be able to spread the idea of Sanctuary Anywhere - how just about anyone, in just about any place...at work, in the market, at school, in church, in a restuarant, in prison, wherever...may create temporary safe environments in which those in deep grief may feel comfortable enough to grieve in their own ways. Giving to FAR will help in many ways to comfort those in grief and to help raise awareness about caring for the bereaved.

FAR is currently a small organization run completely by volunteers, but we gratefully reach out to the world's bereaved. To do this, we have certain basic operating expenses we must meet, such as computer & Internet expenses, toner cartridges, state fees, fuel to be able to drive the highways looking for roadside markers to photograph. Your donations make all this possible. Then there are the relief funds for those in deep grief: your donations help tremendously.
